Get Ready for the Holt Food Frenzy!

Enjoy an Evening Out with More than 20 Local Food Trucks

Springtime in Holt may include a rollercoaster forecast. But it also signals the return of the beloved Holt Food Frenzy at the Holt Farmer’s Market!

The first Food Frenzy of the 2026 season is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, from 4-8 PM. The April event will feature 20 local food trucks. This month, food will be sold to-go only, with no on-site seating or activities (because we all know how unpredictable Michigan weather can be in April).

Looking ahead into the summer, Food Frenzy attendees can expect to enjoy many of the same amenities as in previous years.

“If it’s not broke, don’t fix it,” Chuck Grinnell, manager of the Holt Farmer’s Market, shared with a chuckle.

From June through September, the events will feature outdoor seating, live music, a bounce house, and other family-friendly activities. Attendees can also expect delicious eats.

“For the Food Frenzys, we’re seeing a huge boom in food truck applications right now,” Chuck said. “We have a number to pick from, and we will be bringing in some new vendors as space allows.”

In previous years, Food Frenzy events have drawn big crowds, running from 800 to 1,500 people per event. Grinnell is expecting even bigger crowds this year as more people vacation at home this summer in light of rising gas prices.

“We may find more folks taking advantage of all the different events that we actually offer in Delhi Township and throughout the Greater Lansing area,” Grinnell shared. “During the summertime in Holt, we have the Food Frenzy events, the markets on Saturdays, the summer concert series over in Veterans Park, and so many great parks and trails. There’s a lot to do in the area.”

Join us on April 22 and don’t forget to mark your calendars for the rest of the Food Frenzy events! All events take place from 4-8 PM at the Holt Farmer’s Market, 2150 North Cedar Street, Holt, MI 48842.
